How much hair gets removed?
The MistBrush™ is designed to gently remove only the loose fur — nothing more. It safely removes up to 95% of all loose hair without tugging, pulling, or scratching your cat’s skin. If you don’t see a lot of fur on the brush after use, it simply means your cat doesn’t have much loose fur that needs to come out — and that’s a good thing. Unlike traditional brushes that yank out healthy hair and irritate the skin (which is why so many cats resist brushing), the MistBrush targets only what’s ready to shed. For best results, make several slow, steady passes and consider holding the brush closer to the comb for better control. Apply gentle but firm pressure and brush all the way through to the undercoat.
I was honestly shocked at how much fur this brush picked up—my cat’s coat looks smoother, and there’s way less shedding around the house. What really impressed me, though, is how it seems to help with her stiffness; she actually stretches and purrs while I brush her now.
